Another Win for UH!

What a game! John Dehart and I got to see one of the most exciting games I have seen in quite a long time.

UH had a 17-0 lead at the half and it looked like they were going to run away with it. But Purdue came out and put the Warriors back on their heels, scoring 35 points in the second half.

After the lead went back and forth in the fourth quarter, Colt drove the team down the field and scored his fourth passing TD of the game. With just over a minute to play, the Boilermakers tried to march down the field but were intercepted near midfield.

UH is now 10-2 and finishes up their season Saturday against Oregon State. We have tickets for that one too!

Oh, and the fans finally came out, with the game selling out for the first time this season. I believe Oregon State is sold out too so it should make for another loud and exciting game.

And let the parades begin…

The Huffman clan packed up this evening and spent a pleasant time down in Waikiki watching the annual Christmas Parade. Now normally we avoid Waikiki(especially on the weekend) but this is a fun little parade that the kids love.

We got the unexpected surprise of seeing two bands from Georgia, including one from my neck of the woods, Conyers! I’m still learning my new camera so the photos aren’t the best but take a sec and check em out. One thing I like about this parade is the honoring of the Pearl Harbor survivors. It’s humbling to see some great men such as these pass you by.

Hairstyle Inspiration?

While beach combing at Kaneohe we came across some coconuts that bore a more than passing resemblance to someone we knew. Striking isn’t it?

In other news UH won again and now face off against Purdue this Saturday. They also cracked the top 25 in the AP and coaches poll! Remember the name Colt Brennan as I have a feeling he just might make it to the NFL stage next.
