I know September 11th changed things but sometimes the level of idiocy coupled with paranoia amazes me.
The furor over the signs posted in Boston like the one pictured on the right blow my mind. Boston shut down several roadways for HOURS because of these. They then tracked down and arrested the dastardly duo of aqua teen terrorists. I can now safely travel to and visit Boston if I want to now. Well, as long as I stay out of their tunnels.
The city is proceeding with prosecuting these employees, who were doing what they were told by their employer and are demanding that Turner Broadcasting pay for the city’s expense for their knee jerk reaction.
The great city of Boston fails to mention that these signs have been up for WEEKS. And that they were posted in numerous other cities without incident. Nope they assume the worst, cause a panic, and then when their stupidity is revealed they deflect by arresting the perpetrators who exposed their lack of common sense.
Look I know we are a country at war, with terrorists, who do not play fair and can strike anywhere. But we cannot be a country ruled by that fear. If we all act like Boston, then we are playing right into the terrorists hands…
