Savannah had her recital yesterday and I managed to get it on video! My button slipped once so you might notice a “stutter” near the beginning but overall it came out great.

We hope everyone we know has a great holiday!

Oh Brother!

My brother-in-law came out for a visit last week. We all had a good time and there are some stories that will go down in the family history book(or more appropriately bones for the family closet). It was a lot of fun and we hope to see em again once we are settled down in Georgia.

We have had to move our departure date up to early March so we are starting to feel the clock ticking down on our time in paradise. We are hitting the beach whenever we can and trying to get as much out of Hawaii as we can before we leave.

And the season comes to an end

Well UH played their last regular season game of the year last night against Oregon State. It was a very exciting game and even with the crazy wind and some rain we had a blast. Unfortunately UH came out 3 points short in the end and I forgot my camera! Even so the Warriors can be proud of a very impressive 10-3 season and can look forward to playing Arizona State in the Hawaii Bowl Christmas Eve.

In other news I took my CISSP exam and I won’t be surprised if I flunked it. I woke up that morning to do some last minute cramming and as it gets closer and closer to test time my stomach is feeling worse and worse. By the time I sit down and start I am sweating and feel awful. It was 3 and half hours of torture and at the end I was just happy to get home and lay down. Maybe I should get tested for radiation poisoning!
