Well I think I got the new looks done and everything looking and acting like it’s supposed to. Please let me know if anything looks wonky from your view. Meegan and I are still getting used to cold weather again and getting ready for the family to come over for Christmas Eve-ish dinner. Eve-ish because we are doing it the weekend before Christmas.
I know it has been awhile since I have posted and now that I do I come posting sad news. Our cat Perl, who we have had for 11 years, succumbed to complications from a probable liver disease. It was sudden and caught us by surprise and we will miss her alot.
She was a beautiful cat with lots of affection and didn’t put up with any of that immature kitten stuff. She always gave the air of being a sophisticated cat and if you were lucky enough to have her get on your lap, then you knew she had approved of you.
While she can never be replaced, we did bring another cat into the home a few months before. Fozzie is a male who is the complete opposite of Perl and is busy driving us all crazy with his antics. Look for pics of him soon!
Back in May Brian, Raf, John and I headed up with my Dad to the mountains to relax, drink beer, fish a little, and drink beer. We had a great time just sitting around “talking story”. We have another trip planned in October so I’m stocking up on the beer now.
